First job, get rid of all the patina......:green gri

At least its been saved from some Hipsters art project. It needs to be free in the wild not on display in London show room. Looking forward to the restoration.

Regards
Barny

And this,
I’d best be careful ,the world might end as I’ve split a brembo caliper:eek:

LOL made me smile........

It didnt look THAT bad - more like a decent deep clean and a major service would done the trick......rather than a restoration.

Apparently,
And I read this somewhere on an Internet forum,so it must be true!
Both Bmw and brembo advise against service or repair of brake calipers.
:confused::confused:

Excellent :clap:clap

It will be back to 91 for him , a brand new 100GS .

How will you get the seized bolt out of the engine casing? Heat and a hammer ?

How will you get the seized bolt out of the engine casing? Heat and a hammer ?

I was going to ask the exact same question; having had a small fight with one of these that involved pulling it through with an impressive array of spacers and no small amount of sweat, I always wondered what happens when a stud is truly stuck fast, so this will be of some interest.

This has all the makings of a great thread......I can't believe how quickly the bike has been reduced to it's component parts :bow

Mick.

Well done, great to see it saved from the hipster/cafe racer bodgers.
Looking forward to seeing the next update.
