hanguard fitment

Yes.

Well, I've got them fitted to my 2015 R1200R Sport, and I'm sure that the 2017 is no different.

They're not particularly effective though so I've added the Givi tinted extenders which help at the top, though I'd like a little more below as well.

Basically the GS ones fit and look great, but the aftermarket ones probably do a better/cheaper job

gyp,
is one of your brackets attached by the mirror bracket,if so where do,s the other one bolt too ?

Both sides go round the mirror stem and bolt through the bar end.

For FWIW the Givi version are larger than the GS ones, they fit differently near the mirror fixing but the same at the bar end.

Had Givi’s fitted on an F700gs and the seemed to keep more wind and rain off than stanard R1200GSA LC ones with extenders on! Significantly cheaper as well.

i have just ordered a set of cheap chines off ebay,
we will see how they fit ?

still wouldn't mind if any ones selling on a set of the givi though.
thanks for the pics.

I have the Givi handguards, they fit nice and keep wind off your hands, bit expensive for what they are and I'm sure I could bodge something up for less than the £85 I paid :)

just received my chines knock offs, they dont look that bad ,will fit them sometime this week,
will let you know if there worth the £55 ££.

fitted,
all good, but not bmw,and there price.

Hi, what do you think of the chinese hand guards ? Did they fit OK & do they look OK ?
I have a 2012 'R' and don't really wanna spend the best part of £100 of the NN clear guards (they do look good though !) i'm more interested in the wind deflection capabilities of the guards more than the 'dropping the bike' protection properties ?

iceclimber,just seen the posts,
no that,s not them, they are exactly the same as gyps photos but cost £55.00 on ebay,as before chines ripp offs, but are well worth it.
im to thick to post pics, but tomorrow i will post the ebay advert info.hope this helps.

just found the item number and seller,
