You don’t need porn in Tallinn, there appear to be rather a lot of sex clubs and massage parlours near the city centre
I’m sure one if not both of everybody’s favourite budget airlines do cheap flights here though selling the idea to your wife might not be too easy
Now that my ‘plans’ have gone to shit Poznan could be a viable option on the way home. I’m still planning a two night stop in Kaunas but it’s a mere 450 miles from there to Poznan and Poznan to the Hook is a brutal 600 mile ride but I’ve got until 9pm to check in for the ferry so it’s achievable.
Saturday ride to Riga for an overnighter.
Sunday ride to Kaunas for a 2 nighter.
Tuesday ride to Poznan.
Wednesday and Thursday back to the Hook stopping wherever takes my fancy or go straight through, I’m on a flexible ticket so it doesn’t really matter.
I’ve got loads of time in the bag if I need it
I really want to camp for a few nights and apparently there’s a nice site in Riga so I could turn that into 2 nights and still manage it

I was going to walk to the supermarket and buy some proper food but can’t be bothered. I’ll get this down me then walk into the city again, take photos, drink beer, eat food, asleep by 6pm.
I’ve finally realised that the city centre camp sites I keep seeing signs for are for motorhomes even though they show pictures of tents on them so I need to find room for a couple of cans on the bike and go bush if I want to camp.

Any particular reason why? I’ve been thinking of going there tomorrow but if it’s not got the charm of Tallinn I’ll not bother and I’ll head elsewhere.

supposed to be getting away with my lad on the bikes this weekend; but cant sort owt until i have some idea of the time i'll fallout of this fuckin tin can i drive for a living tonight. Stormin the castle; Dent; or a scurry round Wales looking favourite. Can only dream of 8 days.

I’ve got another plan on the go right now and that’s to be properly rat arsed by 6pm so I’ve had a decent sized bowl of noodles with pork & beef to soak it up and now I’m on one. If you think I was pissed when you saw me at 11pm outside the Queen Mary that was nothing compared to what I’ll do today
Riga seemed to be more geared up for stag parties etc than the other Baltic cities, nice enough place but lots of groups of 20yr old lads wandering about pissed.
There's an abandoned Soviet nuclear missile site about 20 miles west of Tallinn if you're interested in that stuff at Keila-Joa.
That doesn’t sound ideal for a quiet night supping a few beers and having a meal on my own.
The missile base sounds interesting so I might do that, grab some cans and head for a deserted spot on the coast to wild camp and spark up a fire

Don’t be so negative. It’s still a quite pleasant day, not too warm, not raining so I’ll retreat for a shower later then visit the Indian restaurant I’ve spotted about 5 minutes from the apartment. Alternatively I might go to a place that claims to do the best steaks in the area and has their own micro brewery.
I’m starting to like Tallinn after 5hrs on the ale and it’s nowhere near over yet.
Make sure that steak comes on a hot slab; but dont get that pissed you forget , and pick the fucker up.
