Hello,

Recently purchased the 2018 BMW r1200gs Rallye TE after riding sports bike for many years

Love the bike and looking forward to touring over the coming months/years!

One thing I have noticed is the slight buffeting around the forearm/shoulder area which I'm hoping will stop once I fit some winglets. Ive tried the screen in various positions but it seems to work best at its lowest setting. Helmet is the Shoei GT Air

Ey-up and welcome to the mad house

Welcome to the collective, assimilation won't take long.
Resistance is futile.

Enjoy the bike.

Cheers Dave.

Ey-up lad. Nice bike but you may end up putting winglets and a GSA screen on it to get rid of the buffeting :rob:thumb

GSA screen and Winglets seem to have worked. Only issue with GSA winglets is fitting so most likely purchase a pair from Nippy Normans

Hi & welcome to the forum, I’ve same bike but 9000 miles in, you may find a little wind is nice on a hot summers day, personally this summer I was glad for a little airflow, even had my twat jacket arm zips open this year.. (I’m sure you’ll soon get to know what a twat Jacket is) but very versatile imo
