Yep, Sad but true. Therein lies the problem with the ST, good as it is. Oh well......But if you do convert it, please change the instrument panel etc to the correct G/S headlight binnacle, such a lazy giveaway when peeps dont do that, which is most of the time....

I have most of the correct parts already to do the conversion,tank,binnacle etc.
once it’s done it will be indistinguishable from the genuine thing apart from the vin number and v5
I’ll need a front mudguard and 21” rim if anyone has one hiding in the shed
All said though,
If someone has deep pockets and wants a fully restored ST it would be my pleasure!!

Ahhh im a sucker for that faired in headlight........gets me every time. Its what got me into BM's about 30 odd years ago. Still miss my RT.

Funny but I was kinda thinking about installing a restored one as an *ahem* "Art Installation" in my workshop ages ago - but Mrs Solistate100 told me to "grow up and get real" etc etc. She's not a biker, bless her.
