Lower the footpegs without raining my blood pressure with the cost (GSA1200 - 2012)

It's a long shot but I'd like to lower the foot-pegs on my GSA 1200 (air) but really don't want to spend north of £150 as Nippy's and others would like for what is a bit of shaped metal. I also don't want to replace the pegs I have, just have them at a slightly lower height.

Does anyone know of a low cost alternative - I'm not overly precious about having to have a named brand just something that works.

Have a look at SW Motech foot rests/pegs. Got a set for about £75. Adjustable and come with option of grippy stainless steel or rubber.

do cymark do a kit. they provided an excellent kit for my vstrom.

I made my own: a pair of Triumph Daytona pegs and return springs from the junk box, a pair of sleeves machined by a friend, and all was well. If you can find a pair of used BMW pegs that would be easier still.
