I stuck to the roads as I was with a bunch of lily-liveried lightweights. From what I saw it was doable with Conti TAs - not much mud, mostly stones

I had TA2s on my 1290 and the tracks were fine.

I'll have a look when we get there....there'll be 3 of us, so depending on the democratic decision.......I'll have a ride up and go see!!!!!
The first bit is quite steep but flattens out when you go through this ‘gate’ at the rear of the pic:
I do love that picture.......did you happen to go as far as the small church, which is circa 6km north from Espinama?
We’re going to Picos in September
I’ll see you there then.

16,17 at Hotel Del Oso before heading back to Portugal
2003 I left my bike at Fuente de, took the cable car up and walked back!
The track down joined this Espinama to Sotres trail and in many ways was more enjoyable than riding it...... eventually got to Espinama but didn't expect it to be so feckin far all the way back to my bike walking in full riding gear
Ok we overlap, starting in Burgos on 14th.

Ignore the big girl , Keith !
We’re going to Picos in September and Warninglight above won’t take his Girl’s Sledge on the tracks as he’s scared to buckle a rim . And he hasn’t got full body armour !
I rode it in leather jacket and jeans . You’ll love it !
Cheeky fucker! Those tracks look ok, actually but still not going. Not at all like the tracks round my way which you'd struggle with even on an ATAS. So there! Stick that up your arse, Arsey.
If you there then how about meet 7 am in Del Oso car park for early morning ride to Sotres and back on 17th ?
Not sure any of my lot will do it on there GSs because they’re not built for it , according to Warninglight !!
