Anyone recogniose the route this guy takes in his video. I wouldn't mind taking such a route, looks very doable on an enduro. Stunning scenery.

Thanks for that guys, adding this to potential outing next spring/summer

Just arrived back down now to Espinoma from the hotel thing up on the Street trail (as per vid in OP post). Me on 11150GS, mate on Super Tenere. Story & video may follow...

Yup, rode a fair bit of that in June

It is awesome, and it is doable (IMO) on bigger bikes, at least the part me & Crunch did last week. There's a refuge at a summit-type place where the route that I'd downloaded from Wikiloc was blocked off. We decided to backtrack to where we started, but later we looked at Google Earth and saw that we could have continued to Sotres on an alternative trail. I wish we had, but we still had a blast riding the bit we did.

I think that we rode to the bottom of the cable car last summer. Isn't there a reservoir at the bottom?

Sadly the cable car was closed when we got there for lunch, so maybe next time.

That looks fun though...

Was over there in August ,that's next August booked ,crackin pics .Think I would need to ride up ,I could not have went up in the cable car :hide:chickendance:eek:

Well with any luck, I’ll be riding that route in July. Especially after seeing Martins photos in post #7, it looks too nice to miss.

We will be staying Hotel Del Oso (on personal recommendation), and then riding the trail to Sotres, and then on to Las Arenas.

I think a few pictures will be taken @ the base of Fuente De as well, with the mountains as the rather marvellous backdrop.

Yep. They were soft as wotsit. Food at the hotel was great. If you're going by Brittany Ferry you can get a very good deal on the price as well - as I found out after I'd booked it.

Tell me more, as I’ve booked the Hotel (not paid yet) and we’re on the Brittany Ferry to Santander.

Looks lovely; is the trail doable on road tyres, or can I go only X km’s until have to turn around?

I’d be travelling north from Espinama.....

Check out the BF website, they have deals with hotels in Spain, del Oso was one of those last year. Tbh it’s good value even without the discount.

I stuck to the roads as I was with a bunch of lily-liveried lightweights. From what I saw it was doable with Conti TAs - not much mud, mostly stones
