Hi - currently have 800GS insured with Bennetts for £109, total excess £350. 54 yrs old, central Edinburgh, 5 years NCD.
I want to add Urban G/S X as 2nd bike, have new quote of £268 with Bennetts for both bikes, existing 800GS policy would be cancelled with £50 refund which means both bikes on new multi bike policy for net £218 for the next 12 months. That all seems fine, but excess gone up to total £600.
Is that a pretty common level of excess now that others are seeing?
