Wasn’t too sure if i was doing the right thing taking my Pan along yesterday. Although Hilltop have a great reputation on here, I wasn’t sure they’d be as good on a Honda. I’d already mailed them and had a rather short reply saying they could improve things. Didn’t exactly exude confidence etc.
However, after riding home yesterday afternoon I was starting to feel thngs had improved a bit. But today I’ve been out on a club rideout and now I’m back home I can now say it’s probably the best money I’ve spent on a bike.
The snatchy low speed throttle has improved massively, not 100% perfect, but you can now feed power back on as you negotiate a roundabout say, rather than lurchng forward as was standard.
And the power delivery throughout the rev range is much smoother and linear. It’s just a shame the Pan was to big for the dyno, so I’ve no nice pretty printout showing the before and after, but at least I saved a few quid for that too.
So thanks John for organising it and to the boys at Hilltop for their services. I’ll certainly be recommending them.
