ÉCU question
I am now tracking down a replacement ECU, to fit to the bike when I am back in the Congo.
For a r1150 Gs twin spark I am told by Motorworks that the BMW part number is 1361 7658618.
And my further detective work says that the corresponding Bosch part number is 0261207869.
However, further search suggests that this part number covers a number of different Bmw part numbers:
So here is my question:
Can I buy an ECU with any of the BMW part numbers listed against that common Bosch part number?
And if so, why would Bmw have different part numbers? Are they configured differently?
Note: my GS no longer has ABS or brake servo in operation, if that information is relevant
Thanks for any helpful advice!
