Been looking for a replacement wax jacket for casual wear after lost weight

I wasn’t overall impressed by the Barbour offering

Id Like belstaff Mojave but too dear

Seen these online

Speedwear do nice range with nice price tag too. On paper they look great but I can’t find any decent reviews or if they are even uk made as address is just a housing estate

Anyone here use them before?

very nice looking jacket just pricey for me.

must dig out my old barbour from years ago see if fits now

Ha
This is my dads old Barbour ( I think it is the original game fair ) he has been dead 33 years and he had it for at least 20 years
Sadly I need to lose a stone before I can wear it

John, have you considered a John Partridge?
https://www.johnpartridge.com/collections/mens-sale-1/products/newton-bandit-rustic-olive-1

I've a jacket of theirs and I love it! I'm actually in this section of the forum to see about re proofing mine

I've got about 4 John Partridge coats and jackets. They're really good quality and I think, the last manufacturer that still makes them in the UK.

Merlin do some good short or long jackets

Good features and waterproof.

Cheers Dave.

I looked at John partridge but had already put order in

I got the Oxford hardy off moto central as deal was very good with sale + forum discount

How are you getting on with the jacket? Is the sizing fairly standard?
