I paid a lot less than that ;-) In fact even with a second set of alloys from an S model it was less than that

Ah, yes - because they are cheaper ;-)

That is a fair price for an S model, I was so agnostic after riding both bikes twice including a back-to-back test I went with the cheapest.

Hopefully it will be a while yet before folks realise just how good the KTM's are and we can keep on getting decent discounts until they do

Will be interested to see how you like the 1290R - are you going to fit S wheels straight away or see how you get on with the R wheels first?
