Exhaust cleaner?

Bike now going away for the winter. The bike would be fine but my knackered knees don't respond well to the cold very well. It's getting a good clean before being put to bed but can anybody recommend a quality cleaner for the exhaust outlets? You know the 2 oblong pipes at the end of the exhaust? Will be taking the plastic cover off to do it.

Autosol and an old tooth brush will do the trick.

Hahaha. No, not cleaning inside the exhaust. Just taking the plastic cover off the end of it and having a go at getting the 2 end pipes shiny again.

Mothers aluminium polish is what I use

I use this, applied with small brush. Excellent. Then polish with autosol chrome cleaner. Not as harsh as normal autosol

Brasso wadding, couple of quid in Morrisons etc and very easy to use with fantastic results
