Chers Keith,

30 minutes to fit followed by a quick 20 minute blast to check all ok, difference was immediately noticeable..

The Wilbers transformed my GSA12.....one of the best upgrades one can do....:D

SE Rider I see your Wilbers is taller than stock (how much taller/height adjustable at the bottom?) and did it quicken up the steering ?
Thinking about getting a Urban myself...

Well spotted, yes it's +30mm with +/- 15mm adjustment, immediately noticeable when i sat on the bike. Felt like it should do, not too tall just right.. Certainly quickened up the steering, not too much but just enough to notice and put a smile on the face...

How’s the bike on the bumpy roads now?

Perfect, although the aim of fitting the shock was to raise the bike up slightly not to improve the comfort. I've never had any issues with the comfort of the Urban.. Plus the blue spring goes perfectly with the look of the bike...

Slightly less shite ?

Never was shite to begin with!!

Take no notice of the pilot, nobody else does :D

+ 30 mm should do it :thumb2
Of course running the TKC 80 you won't feel as much improvement as in quicker steering as you would with Tourance Next or Scorpion Trail 2 tires since you changed the geometry a lot.
Compared to a R9T with a 120mm travel and 17" wheel the Uraban with 125mm and 19" gains 30 mm at the front but only 120/140 travel 20 mm at the rear.So you loose 10 mm at the rear.
Now you gained 20 mm on the rear making steering angle steeper and reducing trail.
Would love to try your bike to see how it handles compared to a regular R9T...;)
What do you do about the front - Wilbers cartridge ?
Interesting that Wilbers gives you up to 45 mm more length where Ohlins only + 10 mm...
