Any one gone down the after market shocks route, thinking about Wilbers, think standard are stiff and poorly damped, with the state of the roads the ride will only get worse

I find them fine and have done 18k on my bike. But I do ride with the shocks set to luggage all the time, find it tightens the rear better. Would be interested though if anyone has fitted any aftermarket shocks on an LC and if there is any marked improvement.

Had a chat with Wilbers rep, as I weigh 81kg with bike suit, helmet, boots, gloves etc. I am not heavy enough to get a compliant ride with standard springs, with pillion and luggage the bikes fine, they will build shocks with spring to suit my weight, plus pillion weight, plus 15kg for luggage weight
Going to try a 1250RT and a 1250RS as they have auto load suspension
Had 1100RS and 1150RS both cracking bikesoo
