A simple Nav V question! :)

If I use the 4-button mount on my GS LC instead of the BMW supplied mount, will I still be able to get the telemetrics on screen through the worley-wheel?

I know someone is going to ask why! Because if I can, I can buy the Touratech locking mount to replace the BMW locking one that does not feel too secure to me!

But - I was once advised by BMW dealer not to use the 4-button mount in conjunction with the thumbwheel - as it could cause confusion

Nobody will steal your GPS from the BMW mount and the device won’t fall out whilst you hoon.
