Actually dunno - probably the LM1

A Jacobs Cream Cracker question!

Original Is Best.
LM1 for sure.
The newer one is nice, but "nice" is not the word one would use if it really were the better Bike.
Guzzis are Evocative.

LM1 is more Evocative.

Wallet says LM1 (it’s a mk.1 series 2 )
Heart says the same

If like me you discover older Guzzis later in life then you’ll find as Ogmio says they are evocative, they definately get under your skin.

I’ve been consumed with them for the last five years.

Cracking bikes

On balance I'd go for the MK1 LM but only so it could live in the kitchen. Always liked the Daytona, but my eyes are always drawn to the hideous oil filter.

After having ridden this You guys can stick yer LM 1or 2 where the sun doesn;t shine :aidan

Daytona for me, no contest.

Having had Guzzis on and off since my teens and having scratched the Lemon itch already I’d much rather have a bike that fitted me and had a modicum of performance.

I thought you might have noticed the tail piece signature Andres ;)

Indeed I did :)

I had one of his hand built exhausts on a Stealth T3 many moons ago (P3 cam, Lemon heads & carbs, 1000cc) :thumb2

Here's a piccie off my hallway wall that I took in the Guzzi museum (one of the early Daytona protos):

I dont know which is which,

But I prefer the look of the one on the right :)

The Le Mans (there was no official Mk1).

I rode my first an ice blue one in 79 and have been smitten ever since (currently have a Griso)

The Daytona never did it for me, very uncomfortable and a bit of a pig in lipstick

My Le Mans managed a geniune 130mph (indicated 140) down the straight after Creg ny baa. Certainly pissed off a few Laverda and 900ss owners

lm1 over the 1100 Sport any day of the week

i once chased another guzzi mechanic , i was on LM1 with female on the back , he was solo , i arrived 15 seconds after him , he was not happy . neither of us owned either bike.
