The Dent Event - 17th to 19th May 2019

I hope he finds yersen on his map.:D

Micky will

There's 2 roads in and out of Dent which within a mile go off in 3 different directions
It ain't hard to get lost and if you do where's the harm - you will get back again

You can't get lost on an island JB ... sometimes, maybe, just temporarily unaware of your current location :D

:beerjug:

JB,
100 miles is reasonable, if I remember to put a spare can of fuel on the back :D
BTW it's a '26 Norton

Will be great to see you Neil, and the old Norton. There'll be several rides out organised, or as JB says, on those roads you can make your own up.
You can potter all day, in beautiful scenery and yet never be more that thirty or forty miles from base :thumb

:beerjug:
More than happy to put that run on again if folks want.

Thanks Steve ... that's great :thumb

Magnet and Harry the Cat will be sorting the rides out, but we've plenty of time :thumb

:beerjug:

Have you booked the same weather as we enjoyed this year? Add me to the list regardless please :thumb2

Yes we’ll be there already booked in to a b&b........:beerjug:

Looking forward to seeing everybody again.........even NT:p

The only upside of this is that the delightful Mrs Johno will be there, your presence however :blast :D

Will we be out on the bikes or doing the beer quality control work?

Now you mention it the quality control thing does have a certain appeal.:D

I'm bloody socialising and beer quality control work, none of this ride out malarkey :beerjug::beer::friday:beer::jager

I can recommend the Aviator bitter in the G&D :thumb2 but last year the weather was so good I can't remember getting
past the Sun Inn beer garden.

Speaking off quality control, I hope to get up to Dent in the next week or so, for a few days, walk the dawg, chill out, relax ... and check up on quality control ... a sneak attack you understand ;)

In particular the 'Aviator' in the George and Dragon

And the 'Monumental' in The Sun Inn

... but I will check out the others of course, in the interests of all you good folk on here :D

Christ Micky, the hours you put in to make sure we are all kept happy. A thankless task I imagine with very little reward, small consolation to be had from Aviator & Monumental.

ps Is vaping still banned in the Sun?

Someone has to do it ... I would never ask anyone to do something I wasn't prepared to do myself :D

Vaping? Dunno, if not it should be .... banned that is!

Aye, the beer garden was a fine place to spend an afternoon, sorting the world out over fine beer
