Hoping to still have some feeling in my fingers & toes this year, as the temperature seems set to remain above freezing on Saturday night and into Sunday morning.

Tea & medals in the Mill afterwards I think.

Now, where is the a poppy smiley?

I rode up for Remembrance Sunday to signal my virtue about nine years ago. I went with a pal from Edinburgh on our Stelvios, it snowed as we rode over the lecht and Glenshee. We stayed overnight in Aviemore waking up to several inches of snow, but luckily the roads were cleared (very impressive). The ride over to Spean Bridge was feckin cold, but was worth it. I went to lay a small wreath because my Nan's brother Fred was a WW2 Commando.

Temps not too bad at moment sitting around 12 degrees but wet.

Would love to join you Steve, but I’m going to an event on Burghead beach at 09:30, followed by laying the wreath at Mulben War Memorial at 14:00. No matter what any dickheads say, I will remember and honour all the fallen.

Been wanting to do this for a few years, forecast looks pretty decent, rain overnight will mean wet roads but dry overhead. Need to force myself...

Memorable moment at the monument earlier today and no virtue signalling to be seen:D

Nice meeting you SteveT, hope you had a drier ride home than me pouring rain from Fort Bill all the way home worth it though.

And Dickhead #1 has enterd the room.

Good the meet you as well Turpin. Sorry to hear the rain caught you - dry all the way home for me

Photies from the ride there and back

Well done guys, think I've finally convinced myself that it's never going to happen at this time of year I'm afraid, just too far in rubbish weather for me,.

Nice photos SteveT. The Dam was certainly gushing, it was also the first time i had seen the sand bar at the western end of the loch fully covered.
