My original spotlights have been replaced at some point with good quality aftermarket Cree led’s, however one of them has started to flicker, not straightaway after starting, but a few minutes later. I thought it maybe where they plug into the loom, so cut the connectors off and soldered the wires, but it is still flickering, the spotlights look like sealed units, any ideas?

Dry joint - internal, or a resistor failing again internal

my led sidelight started doing this a few weeks ago, Externally it looks fine,

but i got so pissed off with lampf on the kombi i replaced it with a yellow incandescent one today

LEDs will strobe if the input power is low. Check the line voltage to your lamps.

The U5/U7 LED spots (like these - https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/2x-125W-...h=item3d3c166d5c:g:BqAAAOSwh2xYBKaK:rk:1:pf:0) have an annoying strobe/dim/full function by multi clicking the switch. They normally light at full power but if the switch bounces they will dim or strobe. The fix is to remove the U2 chip that controls the feature.

Maybe your LEDs have the same feature.

This is how to modify later spec lamps which do not have that chip https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OsZTlpc6KDw

The spotlight was knackered and was failing, I got in touch with the company (link below) that supplied them over 2 years ago (warranty was for 2 years :blast) and they were really helpful and supplied 1 only for £40 delivered.
