After perusing the Internet in search of a Hall sensor for my R1100GS, I've settled on what
Motorworks offers for £180. Bloody expensive for what it is.
So before I pull the trigger on this deal tomorrow, does anyone know if there's a cheaper place
to buy one. I don't want second hand.

Thanks in advance for any info.

I'm sure there was a thread on here about building one yourself;

Honeywell components rings a bell, perhaps something to research ?

i work in the motor trade ,and i got a bosch one for myself for 136 quid i think,if you want i could make a phone call in the morning for you to check if needed .
cheers ian

Got mine rewired by GSaddict on advrider. Did a beautiful job and not expensive. Just marked the position of the plate before I took it off so no timing issues. This assumes you're not replacing because of a fault.

Thanks everyone and sorry for not replying. I ended up buying a pattern one from Motorworks £130. They assured me the pattern ones are equally as good as the OEM parts and they sell lots of them with no problems or complaints.

I didn't trust myself to do a proper job, (each man to his trade etc) so for the sake of £130, opted to buy one for piece of mind.

But cast your eyes on this fella and watch in awe.:bow
