Bought a 2018 model one in summer, and its a absolute hoot to ride and despite its lack of bhp it really does zip along nicely its quick enough for me and handles tidy for a cheapish bike, i got a yoshimura exhaust on it and the bike pops and bangs like a goodun,

I am only 5ft7 so the size feels spot on for me, its a basic bike that just takes me back 20 years and i it gives me the same grin as i had when i first past my test :D

:blast tyres are that good its stuck to the wall lol

It looks good, there’s a lot to be said for a real back-to-basics bike with the minimum of electronic riding “aids”.

I prefer this than my R1 if I was honest.

Blatting around the local roads, it's enough.

It really takes off, so much fun.

I know the chicken strips suggest otherwise ;) but it loves the back roads and the throttle is like an on/switch, my last bike was a 765 street triple rs and this mt07 wins in the grin competition, not as good as the street rs at anything, but that's the appeal ;)

I've done the same thing! Picked mine up in September and I've done a thousand miles already. Absolutely love it - as you say it takes me back to my earliest days of riding.

I fancy one too. Suppose I should try one.

£6300 brand new. 3 years 0%.

Great bikes indeed, lots of fun :thumb

For 99% of the time more than sufficient on todays roads :D
