As above, can anyone offer suggestions on a suitable colour match/paint code for the GSA-specific rocker covers? :beerjug:

Or you can ask at the paint supplier for their colour swatches and match it by eye. I put a quality (doesn't yellow) semi gloss clear coat over the base colour to aid cleaning and to protect the base coat. It came up very well.

Thanks boys! My local supplier said he couldn’t match it, so I’ll try someone else now I know the colour :beerjug:

Good luck! They look great with a coat of paint. You need to leave them a few days to cure. Don't ask me how I know this........

Latest update...... Cross-referenced the motorcycle colour code 944, BMW Dark Ferro Metallic, with a car code of 488. With this BMW code, my local paint guy was able to mix some up for me in cellulose :thumb2 Hopefully the end results will be worth all the research......

Well, here it is! Not a bad match, and would look even better with the correct lacquer applied :)

how did you apply the paint to it?? do you have to bake it?? did you remove the existing ones??

Brodie,
did you consider Powder coating....what you think is the better way as I will do mine as well....spraying or powder coating...
Anybody else got any experience....

You just need to get rid of that god awful exhaust wrap now. :augie

RS Race Paints stock it and it's called BMW "Ferro".
I have a can ready for the inevitable.
