Well, Im new to this dark side of the forum, since Im considering chopping in all of my BMW's for a Pan ST11. Ive currently got 3 BM's (1150GSA, R12C, R80GSPD). The GSA is my main touring ride, the R12C is an easy Sunday ride, and the R80 GSPD just as something to spanner.
Im considering a grand tour (France, Spain, Portugal, Italy, Montenegro, North cape, Ireland and Scotland) Over a few weeks / months who knows . Whilst the GSA is good fun for a few thousand miles, I think I will need more weather protection with similar reliability, range etc.
Ive considered the ST13, prices are dropping for both the ST11 & ST 13 that I believe they are fantastic value compared with a similar BMW - however I don't relish the idea of being stuck in the middle of BFE due to an electrical problem that will need a specialist recovery - I could be wrong? So Im currently more focused on the ST11.
Anyone think that having a crack at an ST11 is a bad choice ? Its probably not the forum to suggest it, but should I look at an RT for my troubles?
