My shocks started bottoming out over bumps even when set to the maximum preload.
I've taken them off switched back to the OEM shock for now. However I'm not sure how to trace the source of the problem. I had them Serviced at Kais Ohlins in April.

I'd take them back to whoever serviced them and get their opinion. At least, give them a call.

Have you put on weight? Are you going through deeper potholes?

Winding up the preload will not stop bottoming out.

Rude! ;)
No, not particularly, and having put the OEM shock back on the problem has gone away.

The piston eventually wears out the body. My rear shock has been recently re bodied and serviced looks like new!. It's now officially a triggers brush shock as it had a new piston a few years ago. And has been serviced 4 times :) I think then only original parts are now the spring and hydraulic pre load adjuster.
