Only a guess, but I see two rubber bumps that look like they are designed to prevent the rubber tubes from migrating out of the box, that and the fact that box made from different material means they will surely cone out. Might be worth pulling off the bits external to the box and seeing if rubber tubes come out with them ?
Pull the ali collars out first, then the rubber trumpets come out easily.

As above,the collars may well be a but stuck judging by the amount of corrosion
