Here is a link to the records of aircraft crashes in WW2

http://www.bcar.org.uk/index

I used to live in Hough on the Hill just North of Grantham and used to dig up bits of a Wellington Bomber buried in my back garden as well as from a 12th century friary :D
Anyway there is no memorial to the crew afaik although there is to the friary We used to see loads of archeologists during the summer in fact both Hart Davis and Time Team wanted to do a film but we declined
In the spring I'll do a report on the history of the village There are several flyers buried in the local church including a VC medal holder who also lived in the village during WW2
