Crash bars

Does anyone know if you can fit crash bars with the cylinder head covers still fitted..
 
If you mean the plastic one's I couldn't, I had to remove them.
 
I've recently been looking at getting some of the metal ones and when you look at images and diagrams via eBay and Amazon it appears they fit straight over and would not require anything to be removed - just an opinion though.

They look like the SW-Motech ones to me -

i Had a look at motohaus, they mention putting spacers on the footrest tips,
Slight concern ref ground clearance,otherwise just what i am looking for,
Have you had any issues ,

Ni issues at all.
 
trying the 3M 4111n tape method, on original spoked wheels, i like the look,
i am travelling solo to the south of france in march via zeebrugge, just want the convenience if i get a puncture to save delay time, ,
the 2017 are slightly different they appear to be machined cast rims ,unlike the pressed earlier ones,,
the tape is very strong and flexible with super sticky adhesive,
there is a guy on u tube had good results on africa twin wheels with just tape,
