Garmin Navigator IV

I have a Garmin Nav IV which I inherited with the bike I bought 18 months ago. I've never up-dated it an it was boxed and virtually unused since the original purchaser bought it in 2012. I have been to the Garmin site and from what I can see there is no way of updating it - is this right or does anyone know how I could up date the maps.

Thanks for that, I have tried some of it but will go again, came up against a message saying there are no up-dates available. Will try again.

Have you purchased an update or Lifetime Maps....?

Have you tried updating it via Garmin Express? Which needs to be the latest update version.

I haven't, I'm guessing that is the problem maybe, I bought the bike and the SatNav came with it so not up-dated I don't think since new in 2012
