I can't see my external drive anymore.........

I've just been doing some house keeping moving stuff from my Mac Bool Pro onto my old skool external hard disc drive.

I went to open the HDD from it's icon on my desktop and was rushing; I accidentally did some sort of right click thing and it disappeared with a warning saying it hadn't bee ejected properly.

I can not now see it. I have tried re-starting both it and the computer, both together and separately but still no joy.

I CAN see the drive through the 'disc utility' but that's as far as my IT skills go (see screen grab below).

How can I get access to the HDD again?
