Hi, has anybody hard wired a satnav threw ignition on a 1150 gs any help appreciated

I took mine of the switched tail light power feed. I posted on here somewhere.

If you take it from the side light (or rear light) you can program it with the park light position. added bonus

You can take the feed off the rear brake light switch loom which passes near the rear brake reservoir so long as you can identify the live with a multimeter

Use the parking light in the front headlight. No cutting into wires, just use a couple of spade male connectors with the female part piggybacked onto the top. No mess and easy to do. Only live with the ignition or if the parking light is left on. Might even have a set made up that I used on my 1150 with a Garmin 2610. If I can find it you are welcome to it.
