So I'm after a new battery for my '04 1150 GSA (servo/ABS-removed) and there's enough opinion that the Exide is the way to go

But, knowing nothing about batteries, I see 2 different versions listed on eBay

A 'roughly' £60 one - here

Or a roughly £130 one - here

Other than the obvious price difference... what's the 'practical' difference?

Or... dare I ask, should I be fitting something else?

Actually the latter you can get from Germany, free postage for £99.86, but still...

Exide Gel 12-19 12v 19Ah Motorcyle Batteries are £76.99 at your nearest Battery Shop.

It’s where I always get my batteries from.....:D

the cheaper one is fine and from Tayna, a well regarded mail order supplier

Their Ebay price is a little lower once you factor in P&P on their own website, but this lists a 3rd Exide option!

Note the star buy. This is Tayna's own brand and has a 2 year warranty for a similar price. You'd be unlucky not to get 2 years from Exide though.

I have been using an enduroline battery from tayna in my land rover for the last 6 years and its still going strong.
