Anyone replace that Felt pad under the GSA LC Fuel Tank?

I know in the past inmates have talked about sound reverberating off the aluminum tank on the GSA ...I know there is not a lot of room under there.. Any inmates ever add to or replace that felt Pad to get quieter running bike?? I'm running wires back anyway so i'll have tank off this week..anyway

Yes...But had a 14 and have taken off and installed plastic many times ... BUT I feel motor is noisy and one reason that was discussed was noise reverberating off the aluminum tank.. Trying to quiet it down if possible

Looking for gremlins will eat your heart out, reminds me of the Hareys, once you thought you found a gremlin, another appeared, its all about metal on metal, could even come from engine bars, footpegs, the list goes on, good luck....
