2007 GSA Alloy luggage lock

Hi all
I hope someone here can advise on re-keying alloy top box.
I have the lock out but the barrel pins/tumblers will not come out.
I've watched several videos and read tutorials and all say the pins/tumblers 'fall out' when the key is removed but mine will not. I can remove the barrel lock pin easily enough but the actual key pins/tumblers seem reluctant to 'fall out' even with a light bit of wiggling.
Any ideas gratefully received?

Under the silver end cap, some lock barrels had a long pin that secured the wafer in place iirc.
