Battery test / charging system test

Here is a post from a Triumph forum that someone sent me a while ago about charging system issues. It contains details on how to test to see if your battery needs to be replaced or not. May be of interest, although recent warm weather could mean batteries are less of a problem this year

My last readings from periodic tests were 12.8, 12.4 and 14.3 from a 2 year old battery in good condition
