Took the bike out for the first time since late November. Illness has stopped me riding for a while, though I have been well enough to give the bikes a good clean.

Today was summer gloves (and no heated grips!), Klim jeans and 18 degrees showing on the thermometer.

This is the view from the Downs behind Folkestone, looking over the Channel Tunnel terminal and the delights of Folkestone and the Channel beyond.

Thanks. Minor op due in march which will mean two or three weeks off the bike (more if keyhole turns into full-on open) then it's all systems go for the summer!

I know that spot. Used to watch peeps handglide from there before the Chunnel. Used to pop into the Pill-box but it did smell of wee!!
