Just been reading an article about Basecamp via RideApart's newsfeed
The article mentioned that Garmin themselves refer users with problems with Basecamp,to a 3rd party website for help.
The website was set up by a gent called Ed Conde,

Part of the site has a GPS section which covers some Garmin models in depth
Also has a comprehensive training guide - Both basic & advanced for Basecamp in PDF format
Ive had a brief read, and i have to say it seems very good,
It has an Apendix that covers many of the oft asked questions and some things i never knew you could with basecamp & the NAV V & IV
Might be worth making a sticky for new users to basecamp ?
