I took the Urban off the road at the beginning of November... Not wanting to mess it up when I've got a GSA workhorse.
I loved riding this bike last Autumn, and wanted to make it even better. I'm after improved handling and a few tweaks to the looks.
Not finished yet, but so far:
K-TECH fork cartridges,
Wilbers rear shock,
Akrapovic headers,
Flapper removal,
Charcoal canister removal,
Unit Garage rack,
Hugger.

I still want to get a lighter can (Akrapovic or SC Project) and I think I prefer the bike without the headlight cowl. Think I'll get the seat recovered in black (I've experimented with a bin bag!), and a respray at some point. Maybe red or black with some sort of stripe.

So, what did yours get up to?!

New headlight and motogadget and after four years of tinkering i think that's it.

Looks great Billy. Have you had the seat recovered? Liking the Maxton "highlights"

I did the seat myself using the luimoto gel insert and their cover , easy and more comfy.
Maxton rebuilt the forks with their internals a great improvement.

I put on front and rear fenders, indicators, changed the air intake filters and engine cover. I think that just about completes the job.

Nice
Quite a few modifications going on there. Did you get it remapped too?

Leasky any chance of a side photo of the rear fender. And who makes it please

I am not at home at present but I will get one to you as soon as I can.

Rizoma make them. I changed the undertray (also Rizoma) and the indicators (Rizoma) but please be aware that I am unsure if the rear fender can be fitted directly or if it requires the Rizoma undertray to fit onto.

I am contemplating removing the rear hugger; it’s effective as it keeps the shite off the nice new rear Wilbers shock but not sure how it now looks now with the Rizoma one fitted.

Think I'd prefer it with the hugger, but without the Rizoma guard. Looks a bit "busy" maybe?
Hey... your bike though!

I was thinking of getting mine remapped... not sure though. It pulls well (Akra and SC Project... no cat, flapper, baffle); suppose I'm a bit concerned that it might be a bit lean.

Yes, I know what you mean. I just had it done and I am still not sure if the rear Rizoma fender is making it all look too busy. I bought front and rear but the rear may have to go.

I have had the cat off mine for a while and can’t detect anything negative as yet.

Thanks for the photos, Great looking bike
I took my hugger off and fitted a MudSling.
I prefer the open look
( these a MudSling on eBay, nothing to do with me )

I’m away with work at moment, I’ll put one up when I get home if no one else has.
