Although a few couldn't make it the pre trip weekend proved very worthwhile again with torrential rain and thunderstorms showing any weakness in kit plus getting Tom's suspension set up decently on his CCM 450....after which he rode like a demon!
Unfortunately Byron Had to return early following a tumble which left him with sore ribs, get well soon mate
Our camp 1700ft up on the moors seemed like a good plan........... until the thunderstorm which lasted most of the 2nd night (the first night simply rained) as we lay in our tents it turned out we were all thinking the same thing "Is this how it's all going to end" as the lightening flashed around us
Liam rode his CCM 450 very well.
As did Tom later on after his tyre pressures and f&r suspension were set up.
Time for a breather on Nebo Gulley.
Liam leaving our camp
Camp in the clouds
Not long now chaps
