Heated grips - £195
Computer - £110
Lights - £200
Pannier Mounting Frames - £250
Panniers & box - think of a figure and double it!
ABS - £795
Alarm - cannot remember, so it must be expensive?
White Indicator Lenses - £25

Crashbars and cylinder head protectors are included in the base price

Headlight Protector is extra
Additional Power Socket is extra
Toolkit is extra.....WTF?
Puncture Repair kit is extra
Cylinder Head Repair kit, yep you've guessed it, extra!

So thats pushed the basic price of £9600 up quite a bit has'nt it?

BTBR

Does anyone have the part number and the price for the extra light switch ?

Prices

Fully kitted with all the suff from head light protector to ABS & panniers. Between £13000 & £14000 :yikes :yikes :yikes

Alan, Thanks for the tea. The key will be in the post tomorrow :thumb

Basic bike.............. £9600 (engine bars and valve covers standard)
ABS....................... £ 795
Heated grips........... £ 195
Onboard computer.. £ 110
Antitheft................. £ 175
Fog lights............... £ 200
White indicators....... £ 22
chrome exhaust........ £ 70

Pannier frames........ £ 250 )
top box................... £ ??? ) about £1000 in total
panniers.................. £ ??? )

So for the bike with ABS, grips, antitheft, fogs, luggage and TKC tyres (no charge) it would be around £12,000.

The BMW alarm for the basic 1200 was about £110, can't see why the Adv version would be more expensive.

Because it makes your willie bigger :D

You sayin 1200GSA riders are big dicks

Unlike the big balls you need for a 1150GSA :D :D :D :D

Actually, I ment GSA riders in general :dabone :D :dabone

Will the expandable panniers for the GS transfer across to the GSA?

Nobody on stand was completely sure but the general concensus (including NOG) seems to be a hesitant yes.

think you will find it was £175 unless I was misquoted :D

Am I the only person that thinks £110 for an onboard computer is a disgrace? A £9,500 bike should definately have that as standard.
Does it do anything usefull other than average speed and fuel consumption? Is that even usefull? Doesn't seem worth it. But i still want it, and reckon i'll get it.

Looking @ the pictures to fit the expandable bmw panniers you will need to remove the alloy rack as they have used the mounts for the adv rack

I was told by a member of staff at the bmw stand (nec) that the bike we all saw on the stand (with all extras) excluding the perspex headlight guard , will cost £ 11,400

I have worked the price out with the price list that is available, and a full spec GSA 12, not including the panniers or top box (as there is no price as yet) comes to £11420.

£9600 R1200 GSA
£70 Chrome exhaust
£195 Heated grips
£110 On-board computer
£200 Additional fog lights
£25 White indicator lenses
£175 Alarm system
£795 Integral ABS
£250 L & R Pannier fastenings for Aluminium panniers

Going on the current price of the old GSA 1150 panniers and top box, plus adding a little extra £££ because there a new type, a guess would be £200 + for each pannier and £250 + for top box. Then theres the locks!!!!!!!
