1200GS lights upgrade

I've done a few searches but I'm a little confused about what is considered a good upgrade to the std 1200 lights (apart from a glow worm in a brown bottle that is )

Am I right in saying they are H1 bulbs and that Osram Silverstar are the way to go?

Nippy Norman has got some really good PIAA bulbs just come into stock, see here

they're supposed to be about the best available at the moment - very bright...

Have a look on http://www.autoexpress.co.uk/product_test/ under the bulb tests +50% a LOT cheaper than the PIAA ones! I had some silver star ones in my last car & they were very good.

Just bought some PIAA's from Nippy Norman. £32. Not a mile off the prices quoted in the article. Other posts on the site suggest they are as good as if not better than the competition.

The PIAA's are rated to 4150 Kelvin...which will give a very crisp white light...
