Thinking of going to the old city sometime in August, interested to hear any tips, advice or good ideas.

What are your experiences.?

It’s well worth a visit. Personally, I think it needs about a four day visit.
we went to the salt mines as well, and did Auschwitz. That was very thought provoking.
the old town is a great walk, just make sure you’re able to walk a lot or the little buggy taxi things will cost you.
oh, Schindler’s factory is worth a look as well.
better make that 5/6 days 😁

Stayed here twice on Tossers tours… great location… and if you’re on a bike ask nicely and you get to park in the back yard

Fantastic city with lots to see. Gets busy in summer so I visited in February and enjoyed it.
Schindler’s factory, salt mines, Auschwitz as well as Pope John Paul’s house. Great restaurants and bars, friendly city.

Pick up a copy of the ‘Rough Guide’ or something similar. All your questions (and more) will be answered.

I love the city. Been twice, (by plane) and it's amazing. Loads to see, loads of history..
Funnily enough, I didn't bother with Schindlers factory as was told its just an empty building???
Salt mines, about 20k away, awesome...
