Power Source?

Good evening all,
could anybody enlighten me about the plug/socket shown in the attached picture?
I'm assuming it is a switched 12v outlet, but is it there for a specific reason?
it is by the right hand frame/headstock area on my 2019 RS

It may be the power plug for a GPS unit. Similar plug under the nose of my 2010 GS is used to power my Garmin.

I’ve plugged my Tom Tom into it, lead supplied by Nippy Normans

I think that is the feed for the oem spotlights.
The plug for the nav mount is on the offside next to the top corner of the radiator, or at least it is on my ‘23 model.
