Just an awkward fecker of a bolt. Everything I had that would fit, wouldn’t reach, and Vicky Verky.
Got there in the end.....

Glad to hear it; I'd to remove the exhaust system to refit the starter on the Goldwing, proves that bmw aren't the only bloody minded twats

TBH i was surprised how easy i could get to the back bolt

one long ext one short ext, and make sure one has a wobble end ...

and do it about ten times it becomes easy then

Mine came off easily enough with a 1/4” drive socket and extensions.
