Thanks to all who joined Val H on his quest for the perfect Ford!
It was an interesting day to say the least - Inevitably there was the usual Baptism by those who couldn't resist a challenge or the lure of boulder bottom rivers ........ and the discovery of the odd deep hole, courtesy of 'Pasty Mans' youngest ......:augie who very nearly disappeared, bike n all!
Once we have worked out how to resize the photo's we will put some up, but I'm sure there will be photo's posted be some of the other Forders.

Some pictures I didn't get

Abrasion taking a dip (Camera battery ran out :blast )

Those helpful overlander guys who came to Pastymans rescue with a set of jump leads.

Val & Colt stripping down Keine Blumen's bike in the middle of the river.

Abrasion and Sycomoto pouring water out of their boots.

A Harley rider and a KTM rider swapping rides for a while.

Ming doing some rear wheel steering in between wheelies.

A road sign pointing to Comin Coch.

A certain person who shall remain nameless cleaning their bottom on the grass just like a dog with worms.

Thank you Val & Trev for organising a great ride, and all participants for making it such fun

just for the record

I need to put a few thing straight.
firstly im the older offspring of Pastyman, Flip is 4 years my younger but due to his rock and roll lifestyle he's looking a little worse for wear.

The sinking of the airhead was infact done on purpose for research reasons. We were testing the new water resistant HT leads and 10/50 whale blubber based engine oil, glad to say the oil passed with no imulsification but the ht leads failed. I've also found my gortex boots have in fact been made inside out as they let the water in but wouldn't let it back out.:blast so all in all a good day of testing. :thumb2
