FRIDAY NIGHT OFF ROAD, this year will be a BIGINNERS off-road nothing to hairy, leaving site at 9.30pm after food, back for 12.00 midnight.

Salisbury Plain easy roads, nice and tame, just dark.

Clive is giving his time and he will arrive at 9.00pm from Reading to gather his crew.

An example of the easier gravel track

May stick just with the gravel tracks. See how it goes on the night...

Slightly trickier at night...

Clive, was out today, got flashed by an ARMY LANDROVER, I stopped and he ( RSM) told me off BIG TIME for standing up while riding.

I tried to remenstaight with him, but he was getting even more upset, with me.

So NIGHT TIME off roading seems to be the last bastion.

Cracking day that was Steve and good to meet you Tim, just had a brew at the Ace and there was a crowd round the 3 cubic metres of dirt that used to be a 1200 GS. :thumb2

Cheers lads

1 hour 6 minutes on the way back. They couldnt have been more wrong. :D

Unless I meet your RSM mate, it appears I may be going round on my own :)

I know I'm not exactly a novice now (oi! no need for those comments) but I'm up for the Friday roam across the plain & so is mi mate rob (He's booking today).
So we'd like to stick our names on the list if that's cool with Clive.

I know getting beered up on Friday is tempting but, for me,the weekend is all about the riding with the beer after.

The first loop around is a sighting lap - for the "not exactly a novice" we can go around again, twice as fast ;)

Myself and Captain GSA are up for this (i think) It'll be my first venture off road and looking forward to it!!!!!:D
