Joking apart,it is VERY important to check, and to see your GP if you detect ANY abnormality. Don`t think you`re wasting their time or feel embarrassed, they`d rather check you and say that you`re ok than start proceedings for an operation, and as for embarrassment, they`ve seen lots of `em before.
A couple of months ago,one of my nuts felt different than usual, and stayed so for a few days (I`m sure you all know that yer nuts constantly change size/shape),so,feeling VERY concerned,I went to my GP,who checked and then suggested an ultrasound.
For those who are scornful of the need to check, the time spent waiting for the ultrasound was filled with dread, and the realisation of our mortality (that may sound melodramatic, but wait until it happens to you).
Anyway,I had the ultrasound, and all was fine...PHEW....WHAT A RELIEF !! What I had noticed was a lumpy bit (medical term)
you can get as a result of having had the 'snip' some years ago.
The examiner said I was VERY WISE to get checked, and wished that more fellows did so. SO DO IT.....
