OK, for the folks interested in the Saturday trail ride from The Hand Hotel.
Spout and myself have got a few assistants and this enables us to dilute the rides down even further in to manageable groups. This also will give more mileage, and ensure lesser experienced riders aren't in the rides for the more experienced.
Just to remind you of some pointers to help the ride go as smoothly, take a look at Post #48 here.
Right, so we have three Rideout Leaders and three Tailenders:-
RO1. Easiest ride.
RL - Tinatrim.
TE - Pumpy.
Gravel trails with some sections that get muddy when wet. A couple of tea/toilet stops are possible, and some great views over Clwyd Vale. TKC80 (or similar) tyres required.
RO2. Medium ride.
RL - Spout.
TE - Gaz.
Some gravel trails, and some more stoney routes with small rutted sections and mud. May contain a ford or two but not of any depth for concern (200mm ish, weather dictating). TKC (or similar) tyres required.
RO3. Medium plus.
RL - Timpo.
TE - Robbie C.
Mud and stoney trails, fords of 300mm+ (weather dictating), some steep inclines/declines with rock steps and rutted sections. TKC80 (or more aggressive) tyres required.
Post #2 below can be quoted by yourselves, and you can add your name. Every now and then I'll look on the thread and transfer your interest on to Post #2 and then your post will be deleted. This will prevent people getting lost in the thread.
We may ask you to join another group if the numbers are too great in your initial group choice. There will be plenty of help and advice during the day, and as usual, nobody gets left behind.
Timpo.
