I do. It's the wife of one of the SS guys. She's very self conscious about her weight and is only just out of hospital with depression. I hope she doesn't see your post...:(

Or take over the wigwams/campsite at Applecross ?

Bloody hell Arsey, it was bad enough trying to get served in the Caley Bar on Saturday night - imagine 100 tossers all descending on the Applecross Inn at the same time.

True,

But they do hot food and there's a bar at the campsite.

Probably a bit limited but alot of people seemed to just each fish and chips from the chippy in Ullapool.

Anyway, can't you get 100 pies from Lochinver in yer panniers ?

Steak and Ale for me please.

He might manage to fit 100 Lochinver pies into his panniers...

...but he can't fit the cash required into his wallet. :D

For GOTC? Yer jokin', Martin. We were up there last summer for the Wigwambams and it was really great. For twenty of us.

Applecross is magic but not for 75 to 100 in one group (plus the other folk who are there anyway). It would have nightmare written all over it.

What about here

Have they got any accommodation ?
:eek:onyack

Just to add,as far as I know all single rooms at The Royal for £45 per night are now taken.

They still have twins obviously and can do them for £60 per night B & B for single occupancy as well as the twin rates mentioned

Not there.

We were there in September.

There is a campsite at Port Ellen that is cheap and camping amongst the dunes is fun. The wind did for our tarp:( At the other end of the scale we spent two nights at the Port Charlotte hotel which is stunning. There are about 200 malts behind the bar. Pricy though.

I am not sure the island is ready for that many tossers. The tour at Ardbeg is way better IMHO:D

Regards,

Path.
